Easter

Easter is coming, so it´s time for some new decorations. First is a DIY Easter chicken. To create this, you´ll need two pom-poms, using the smaller cardboard circle to make the head and the larger circle for the body. After sewing the pom-poms together, cut out some feet and a beak from a piece of felt and stick then on the pom-poms. Use some eyes to complete the Easter chicken.

I love coloring in some eggs for Easter. You can just be creative with them.

This time I´ve been using some serviettes to make them look gorgeous. I went for a traditional chicken but you can use any kind of motive you want. I also did a egg with hearts. To make them a bit more colorful you can use some paint as well.

I decided to put mine in a sweet little box for serviettes. I also put some grass in to decorate it. Last year I hung them on some branches, which looked really nice too.

I´m really looking forward to Easter. In Germany the parents hide the chocolates and Easter bunnies and we have to find them. My neighbours always make a big thing out of it. The kids were searching for the whole day. If they could´t find them, all their friends and neighbors would help. I´m excited to see how this year will go.
